Can`t receive email from a specific account

Hello

I'm new to Opera and have encountered a problem. I searched through the forums, but couldn't find a thread dealing with it. If it was posted before, I apologize. Anyway, my problem is I can't receive emails from Twitter.

When you sign up on Twitter, it asks for an email address. Then, they send you a confirmation message and you have to click on the link to activate it.

For some reason, the email from Twitter does not arrive in my inbox. I have received messages from hotmail and gmail and have also sent them so I know it is working. I resent the email several times from the Twitter page and never received it.

Also, if this happens with Twitter, it could also happen with other accounts. How would I trust that I am receiving all my messages?

I know this sounds silly, but have you checked your Spam/Junk mail folder? Or have pressed the "Personal" selector above the Inbox list that hides messages from Twitter?
