Windows Live Ideas site restricts Opera

Microsoft have some nerve. If you go to http://ideas.live.com/ in Opera you are redirected to http://ideas.live.com/whatis.aspx. In fact if you follow any link to a page under the Windows Live Ideas site you will be redirected to http://ideas.live.com/whatis.aspx :irked: And what is worse is that they make no effort to explain why you are being redirected to that page. This doesn't happen for Firefox.

In fact MS seem to favor Firefox over it's own browser, IE. 11 boxes of features/services are displayed for Firefox users whilst only 3 boxes are displayed for IE users. I guess IE users are to simple to be interested in all the other features of Windows Live

EDIT: Correction. MS isn't discriminating Opera. It's discriminating Australia. But their method doesn't work in Firefox and Opera. In Firefox this means I can access all pages, whilst the opposite is true for Opera where I can't access any.

Opera Software
you're redirected to that page if you're not logged on.

Yes it requires you to be logged in to view the main page but in IE you can view the page just fine without logging in. Why the difference ?

So in IE, how many services do you see on the front page? Without being logged in?

It is an old Microsoft tradition to discriminate Opera users.
