Add Account

Normally it's simple but in my case messages are already being fetched from my other e-mail account but the account is not listed under Settings. I'm afraid that after I add the same account and select a dedicated folder for it, I'll end up with duplicate messages. The dedicated folder thing is what I'd like to achieve in the end.

Can I safely add the account again in this case?

That's interesting that it's not listed under settings! Do you ever recall having removed the account, or did you just one day notice it was gone? When sending a message, is there an option to select your other email account as the sender?

I can't know for sure what will happen if you add the account again, since I would expect the account to be visible under settings.

IIRC my other account was visible at some point in the past. Now it's not. I don't see any controls that would allow me sending a message from the other account. Please note that I keep receiving messages from the other account without any interruptions from the day I added it.

The only possible explanation is that you have some sort of forwarding set up on one or more of your (non-myopera) accounts, since no POP linked accounts exist for your MyOpera user (as you can see in the settings screen).

Bummer, I forgot about that! Sorry! o
Indeed I've set up the other account to send messages to my opera mail account, not the other way. Now I'm using opera's 'add account option' and the added account is visible.

P.S. I really like the ability to copy the messages to a new folder even though mail.opera.com does not support folder rules yet.

I am a new user. I tried repeatedly to add my gmail account into MyOperaMail and always failed. However I am sure to have put correctly my username and password. On the other hand, the gmail account works well in other accounts. Is there any way to do that manually (by indicating all parameters like port, imap/smtp address and so? Have I to ask Gmail to do something itself?
