opera link error and bookmarks in opera link cloud missing.

Mind you this worked in the past, 6-8 months ago. Recently when my opera in win 7, it syncs every time and says everything is fine. In linux, opera link used to work fine, now it keeps trying to connect and says opera link error. Also when I login to my opera link account online, my bookmarks to my account is empty. I think opera link isn't working for my account in general and my win 7 opera just isn't reporting the error, since none of my bookmarks are online. I'm guessing this is on the opera server end and not mine, how do I figure this out or fix it?

Thank you.

In my experience, OperaLink reported "error not managed by the server".

The error was an empty entry in the wand database. I removed it manually and opera link restarted syncing regularly.

Thanks, I tried cleaning it out. Now I'm getting "An unhandled error has occurred on the Opera Link server"

Backup the files on Windows, just to be safe. In your profile on Linux (which is ~/.opera/ ) you'll find a number of files that end in ".pre_sync", delete those files. (while Opera is closed of course) See if it works now.

You should try a simple way: disable Opera Link, then enable it by selecting one option at time, incrementally (i.e first of all you could flag only "bookmarks", and see if it run, then you select "notes" also and notice if it continues working. If you are lucky you could find the element that stops your OperaLink's functionality.
