Opera Tab Bar

I think the opera tab bar should be able to resize to site icon size so that it is thin when it is docked on left or right side of browser. As of now it only sizes to thumbnail deminsions. Also it would be conveniant to have a hotkey to hide and show tab bar, and an auto hide feature where the tab bar pops up when the cusor hovers over the side the tab bar is docked. I think these wishes for Opera are reasonable and deserve consideration. Thank You! smile jester up

PS- I like the ability to size the tabs to thumbnail preview size. Innovation only found in Opera. Long Live Opera Brower. You Rock!

You can set the Pagebar Width when its placed at the side.

Restart Opera to implement the new value.

What I'm saying is that when the tab bar is docked to the side, the tabs show in full length same as tab bar docked on top. This makes it difficult to have alot of tabs open at once. Only 3 or maybee 4 really fit. I'm suggesting that when the tab bar is docked to the side that only the site icon is showed not the intire tab. This would allow for having alot of tabs open.

Thanks, but that still doesn't work. Try to duplicate this yourself in your browser and you will see what I mean. Move the tab bar to a side. Then use the cursor to size the tabs to as small as allowed. Even with show only images checked in appearance it still shows the full tab taking up way to much space. Needs to show only site icon. Another feature that would be great is the ability to pin and unpin tabs with double click.

It seems to work OK here. Not pretty IMO, but it does work. PageBar width is set to 40 pixels.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. I just can't get my browser to do that. I'm trying.
