Textarea width without scrollbar, javascript

I need to read textarea width without scrollbar. In FF and chrome textarea.clientWidth works pretty well, but in opera it return width with scrollbar. Is there any way to get that width in opera?

Have you tried searching for "width" in the DragonFly properties tab?
