Internal Communication Errors with Privoxy on [::1]:8118
Hello,since Opera 11.60, it appears to be impossible to use IPv6 proxies. Previously, it was possible to enter ‘[::1]’ in the address field and 8118 in the port field for proxy configuration and it just worked (with Privoxy bound to [::1]:8118, of course). However, since the update today, only a ‘Internal Communication Error’ is spit out (without any more information, as appears to be appropriate today…).
wget happily uses Privoxy:
http_proxy=http://[::1]:8118 wget http://google.com
works as expected.
Is there any reason for this break and when will it be fixed?
