hope I'm posting in the correct place. Can't find Google Tool bar

I thought I added Google Tool bar but if I did, I sure can't find it on my Opera home page.
Shouldn't it be in plain sight as it normally is on other browsers?
Or perhaps the question might be, what did I do wrong?
