Is this a Bug that needs to be reported?
I am not sure if this is a known bug, new bug, or a normal issue with Opera Mobile for Android and I wanted to see what you think ... I am not sure what the proper terminology is for the factors involved as I am new Android.Tablet .. ASUS TF101 ... Android 3.2.1 ... Opera Mobile for Android
After opening Opera (which works fine) an icon appears on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. The Icon symbol is four (4) lines. It is quite common on a number of Apps. Clicking on it normally results in a menu popping up consisting of various choices appropriate to the App currently being used.
On my machine no menu pops up. It does nothing in Opera ONLY ... it works fine in all the other Apps.
I hasten to add that the menu I would normally expect to pop up comes when I click on the Opera O symbol in the Upper Left Corner of the screen.
Question ... Is it normal for this Icon to not do anything or is it a bug?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
it's somewhat normal.
the normal behavior in opera mobile for the menu button is to toggle the navigation and url bars when these are disabled in settings.
on tablets however the settings to hide those bars is removed(which i think was a bad move) making the menu button useless as you can't reveal a bar that is already there to begin with.
