"Ignored" when attempting to post a comment

I was invited to join a new group, Wildflowers in the World. I joined the group and opened a photo album. I have also posted comments on photos in albums within the group. However whenever I try to announce addition to my album in the New photos added blog post, I get this error message.

The group's founder, Cynthia, says that my comments are welcome and that she doesn't understand why I can't post comments there. So I am hoping someone can clarify or help me troubleshoot the issue.

This was an oversight on my part, Deb. My page "Materials of Time" is only my writing and photography, and I only accepted views and comments from those on my friend list. I didn't realize that the settings for my page carried over to a group that I would start. This is the first group that I ever began inside the Opera Community; so, I am learning, as I go along. Although it was allowing comments to the albums and wonderful photos there, this setting was carried over to posts on the group blog. o It is really quite embarrassing on my part. You really are a valued member.

Thank you so much for your understanding. Your contribution to OUR group is very much appreciated. You bring a lot to our Cyber Garden. I changed the settings on my page to accept comments from all the Opera Community. This should prevent you or anyone else from receiving this error in the future. I am deeply sorry for the aggravation this must have caused, but thank you sincerely for continuing to participate while this was being worked out.
Enjoy, there's flowers blooming somewhere. heart

For group-related issues it is best to first PM the owner and ask him/her about the issue. If you do not know the owner of the group and there are no moderators in the group OR if the owner says that he/she has no fault or doesn't know how to correct the issue; then open a forum thread. As usual it is just an advice. smile

Too late if the owner of thegroup wishes it gone.

Standard internet protocol is to back everything up. More especially if you don't have control over the website.

If you do have ownership it could still go west. The general rule is: If it isn't backed up in three paces, it doesn't exist.
