Opera doesn't animate gifs

This has been happening for a while now. It simply won't animate gif files - it fully loads them, but stands still at first frame.
- Opera 11.60 at the moment, but this has been happening for a while now.
- Other browser play gifs normally.
- Tried reinstalling. Clean. Deleted user data in /local, /roaming and program data. Same.
- Animated images option is enabled.

Ideas / solutions? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried if this happen on several web pages? You remembered to see if animations are enabled globally and not disabled on single web page(s)?

You don't have software overriding Opera, such as security software, that disable animations?

Is Opera Turbo on? If it is, try to turn it off.
