Welcome to the My Opera community!

Opera shows different formats in the list depending on the age of the message:

Day Time
Day Date Month
Day/month/year

There's no way to change it that I know of.

As for the order of the different values that appear together, that depends on the locale settings for your OS I think. But, you still can't make all messages shows the same. (Many users wish for that.)

thanks for answer.

I don't know why opera change this list. In the 11.52 and earlier there was time too.
And also I d'ont understand why the actionbutton went to the bottom of the list.

Hmm. I didn't notice any difference. (Not saying there isn't, just that I didn't notice).

What "action" button?

On a side, see <http://my.opera.com/operawiki/forums/topic.dml?id=1196552> to see where all the mail options are at, so you can tweak things if you want.

I don't know the korrekt english Text for the buttons, perhaps request; request all; delete; spam; read

This buttons are in the Past over the list and not over the mail preview. I have the List (like in 11.52) in top, and the preview on bottom. the Buttons are now in the middle, that's not fine for me. I like buttons on top, like al menues.

And why must opera difference the Date-format in the list between today and the rest? what's the problem with the simple format date+time? And why can't choose it?

sorry for whine
sad

Ah, I see. You can goto "shift + F12 -> buttons", find the buttons you want and drag them where you want. You can also shift + drag a button you see on a toolbar to another. Some of these things were changed for use with the new look of "list and message on right".

^ How to set my Opera so I can see the time for the last seven days like that? eek

In the previous version the time was shown for the last seven days, in the new version, in my computer at least, the time only for the last two days if grouped, and only the last day if not grouped.

Among all changes made to the Opera Mail, this is the one that I'm bothered the most. So it would be really helpful if anyone have the tips. smile

Don't know. Never changed any setting that could affect this.
