Eliminate Error Console

Mea Culpa! I committed the unforgivable sin of trying to send an email attachment that was too large for the client to digest. Now, every few minutes I get the error console screen reminding me of my error. How do I stop this? Also, is there any way to prevent the error console from automatically popping up for any reason? I'm not expert enough to do anything with it anyway, so it would be nice to have it if I could access it to send to somebody who could interpret it, but have it remain dormant otherwise.
I use XP Home Edition, Build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.111025-1629 (Service Pack 3) and, currently Opera 11.64.

I've had that option unchecked for some time, but still I'm getting the "error console" pretty often (maybe I should check it). In Opera Configurator's Preferences Editor, there is an item under User Prefs entitled "Error Console Filter" with the default setting as ""javascript=4,mail=3". I have tried deleting this default and leaving the setting blank, but still got the Error Console popping up. Also, under User Prefs, there are three settings for Error Console Log. I have not changed these. Does anyone know if changing these entries would solve the popup problem?
