Are you pressing those keys in Desktop browser or in TV Emulator? You should launch Dragonfly in Opera Desktop browser, set it in listening mode and then connect from TV Emulator to the Desktop browser (using web remote controller button - you can find more details in documentation).

I have it working now.

I've been coding on 5 smart tv platforms now and couldn't face reading the docs for yet another one properly smile

Cheers

Hi All:
could you share more details with me? i setup Oracle VM virtual Box for Opera TV Emulator in my computer running Windows XP OS,also install Opera browser(vision 11.64) in the same computer , i want to debug Opera TV Emulator via dragonfly , so i read some user's guide and operation as follow :

1. launch Opera browser(vision 11.64) and start dragonfly, click "Remote debug configuration icon"
2.choose "7001"port and click"apply" ,it will tip all of setting steps on the remote device.
3.then i launch oracle VM virtual BOX at the same computer, start Opera TV Emulator, before my entering , i check its settings:"host ip:127.0.0.1 ;host port :5555 ; sub-port:80"
4.F1 Key press, the URL and other menus display.
5.As dragonfly's guide: i enter "opera:debug" in URL of Emulator ,but Emulator tips"web address blocked by content blocker"

could you help me to check if i lose some settings or make some wrong? thanks a lot.

See the documentation http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/opera-tv-emulator-developer-tools/#debugging - opera:debug itself won't work, but there's a separate "Connect to Dragonfly" button on the web remote control.
