Desktop View on Opera Mini

I wish we could view the full website (not the mobile version of site) by Opera Mini like
www.facebook.com
www.orkut.com,
www.google.com
www.yahoo.co.in
www.youtube.co.in
We can only view the Mobile Site, not the full site.
Opera developers should do something to this issue.
Even, when Mobile View is OFF, we are forced to the mobile site, thats quite irritating.
We want the whole web on Opera Mini.
Thank You!

I think we need user agent as if i am not mistaken we need user agent exactly for this situation.

Thank you.

Opera Mini is still the best.

I have an option to choose between mobile and desktop under user agent. Go to the advanced settings. (for android)

You mean Opera Mobile right? Not Opera Mini.

It's not the browser. It's just the user agent that needs to be fixed. In UC browser's settings, you have 3 user agent options:

>mobile<
>desktop<
>none<

When you pick 'desktop' your user agent is fixed to 'web' becomes compatible to any web version of the site you wish to see.

On 'mobile' you get the perks of having a mobile version view of every site.

It's such a shame that I can't view myopera.com on desktop on mini. Also the copy select text option doesn't work on the copy select fields on myopera.com (select photo album photo url) using opera mini. :/

Though the rendering of web pages on UC is nothing compared to opera mini, it reminds me of Opera mobile 5 or 6, ages ago.

I HATE being redirected to mobile version of sites I wish to visit. And I also hate that my network provider can alter certain partner sites to their default version on opera mini. That is not cool. I like my web content to be sacred and only view what I wanna view not what my network provider alters it with. I hate it when new speed dials from my network just appears on my opera mini. Very disturbing. I don't feel secured.

not when using a WM6 phone - on it OM10 is borked beyond repair, at least on mine. On top of that evev Mini is working miserably - Wiki sites are unusable in mobile view.

Mini still uses less data / battery and is faster. The option could really exist in it...
