.mov Ubuntu drivers, Microsoft and SOPAHello again, Opera. Very much has happened since we last spoke, in ways, and in ways not much at all. I've gotten cozy with Ubuntu, though, but have occasionally run up against uninstalled drivers that warn:
Confirm installation of restricted software
The use of this software may be restricted in some countries. You must verify that one of the following is true:
* These restrictions do not apply in your country of legal residence
* You have permission to use this software (for example, a patent license)
* You are using this software for research purposes only
Is it close enough to "research purposes" to want to see a web-page, or not?
Why is Microsoft any better than SOPA, for breaking the web for those without their branding?
