Don't see why not, you're talking about friends or co-workers after work, yes? In the U.S. , there's a regional colloquialism - "y'all" - that could work too.

Definitely depends on the country and region, some people would find "Hey" rude - others entirely acceptable.

Depends on the social situation I guess.
