Hy!!

Opera 12.0 beta has in the HTML5 Test 353 Points. Can Opera make his browser better for HTML5?

Thanks

Well, it's a 335 points score here - WebGL not able to run on my graphics card.
Don't by crazy after which browser has got more points. The W3C did not define what points to assign for each supported element added in the HTML 5 specification and neither did it make the test nor does it say anywhere that HTML5test.com is a good medium to rank HTML5 support in browsers.

Well, just for information - Opera currently has an experimental Labs build with getUserMedia API support. When it is integrated into a stable Opera version, Opera would have a 20 points bump on HTML5test.com, so 335 points + 15 points of WebGL (already there - but supported on very few systems) + 20 points getUserMedia API = 370 points; beats Google Chrome. yes
Windows 7 SP1 x86 edition and Windows XP Service Pack 3.
If you need any help from me with regards to Opera, please make a comment on any of my blog posts.

No smile Opera will support HTML5 drag drop properties and events in next core update(most probably). I think Opera will gain at least 15 more points(max 20). 370+15=385 or 390
If you opens old web socket support on Opera you will gain extra 10 points also. 400... I think it will happen in February. smile

You can't look at html5test.com to determine html5 support. That site doesn't test for the whole spec, and it tests lots of things that aren't html5.

The final score is completely messed up as well.
