.pac proxy setup in opera mobile for android

Hi
I am having an annoying problem with setting up an automatic proxy on my toshiba thrive 10.1 android 3.2 tablet. My school requires me to set up the .pac file found at http://proxy.nycboe.org/proxy.pac in order to use the internet. The port is 8002. I tried going to opera:config and after enabling http and https proxies under the "proxy" section, I have tried entering "proxy.nycboe.org", "proxy.nycboe.org:8002", "proxy.nycboe.org/proxy.pac", and "proxy.nycboe.org/proxy.pac:8002" in the "http server" and "https server" boxes to no avail. In the latter two attemps I have found that the browser automatically removes the /. Does opera mobile support .pac proxies and if so, what am I doing wrong? What is the correct format to enter in the boxes? when I attempt to visit a website, I see a redirect page leading me to a link on the domain OpenDNS couple dozen lines long even though my school uses Websense, not openDNS and I am going to permitted sites. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
(please don't redirect me to other apps. My device is not rooted and proxy apps won't work)

okay for all the people who want to run the NYCDOE proxy on tablet computer, phone, etc i have found the manual configuration for their proxy.
the field they tell you to put in is proxy.nycboe.org/proxy.pac this does not work on all devices they easiesr way that works is to use this configuartion

proxy: filtr.nycboe.org
port: 8002
proxy type(optional):HTTP

these settings work i am using it myself on a rooted android it should work on unrooted android too you just have to find the proper app.
good luck!!!

I can't even find out where I'm supposed to type my automatic proxy configuration script file URL in 12. That option isn't there anymore.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you,
