Feature Request: Confirmation dialog for pluginsFirefox asks for permission to install an extension or plug-in when I didn't initiate the installation.
Opera doesn't which is a big security problem.
Please opera-developers, add such a feature and preserve Opera's security.
Perhaps you may want to implement a dialog looking like this:
Please add a comment if you wish to get this feature.
Edit: also per se asking the user to ratify something is a quite stupid idea imo and just leads to the standard user always just clicking "yes" ... the only ones who would click "no" are the ones who know what they do anyhow and probably don't run the crap in the first place.

Opera should at least warn me when a third-party-program tries to compromise my browser.
Do not overgeneralize the "standard"-user.

A relative of mine called me because of Firefox's "Plugin-Warning-Message".
So I could check his pc and remove some trojans.
Without warning he didn't even become suspicious.
Same thing could be said about extensions. But, I'm not too worried about that, yet.
There have also been a few cases where spyware has modified Opera's search.ini files. Would like to see that protected too.
But, I'd like these things not so much for me. I'm aware of what gets installed. Others I know are not.
