No longer possible to move tabs between windows?

I been using Opera on and off for a long time, and one of the features I've most appreciated are those related to tabs.
I tend to get rather full browser-windows, so I often have created a new browser-window and moved tabs over to the new window.
Sadly, this seems no longer to be possible, sine I couldn't get the tabs I was trying to move to "stick", and I ended up making lots of new windows (with just the tab I'd tried to move) instead.
Has this feature been removed? Is something broken? Is there a new way (e.g. a special key-combo) to do this?

I'm using:
Version: 11.61
Build: 1250
Platform: Linux
System: i686, 3.0.0-16-generic
Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux i686; U; en) Presto/2.10.229 Version/11.61

Thanks for this tip, Tamil. This has been a complaint of mine, too. It is possible to drag a tab from one window to another, it's just much, much harder than it once was. You basically have to nail a tiny little space at the bottom right of an existing tab in the target window. Or drop the tab onto that existing tab, creating a tab-group, and then un-group them.

This is one of those great features of Opera that the development team saw a need to cripple at some point, without any obvious purpose, and will presumably never put right again. It's nice to know that the windows panel option is at least available. It feels and looks clumsy, space-consuming. and clunky to me, but at least it does provide a way to move tabs from window to window.

I just came here from a google search for the same problem. I too usually end up with a ton of tabs open and need a new window or use multiple windows each with tabs of a different topic and loved how easy it was to move them around. I figured it out though thanks to this tidbit:

To get the tab to move over, you have to drop it on the skinny little bar below the tabs -the one that you can drag down to stretch the tabs and see page previews (or double click to maximize them.) Glad I figured this out since it has really bothered me and thanks DavidR for steering me there.

Edit: It seems you can also drag them between tabs in a new window.. just not to the blank space to the right. Hmm, can't believe I hadn't noticed.

Well, well.... I never knew about dragging or double-clicking the tabs to expand them for page previews. I always just do a mouse-over. Nice feature!

In my installation of Opera 11.62, the problem that originally started this post seems to be fixed. Dragging tabs between windows now works as well as ever, even without the tabs expanded to show previews. My sincere apologies to the developers for making a false assumption!
