Google Search results corrupting page

Google generate corrupted page for some retrieval requests - too wide for my 1280px desktop that requires horisontal scrollbox.

I had the same problem in Opera 11.61, have now in 11.62 & 12.00 alpha build 1351 x64
System: Windows 7 64bit

It formats correctly when I search from the google page, but not from the google search box on opera. It also formatted correctly one time when I erased all cookies and changed my useragent to internet explorer. Then when I signed in the page got wacked again.

Yep, Looks like Google is shoveling the proverbial towards Opera users, In the vain effort to shove Chrome down our throats. Go Google. rolleyes
Opera 12.14 - 1738 (Portable 32bit) on Win8 Pro, Or portable versions of Linux Mint 14 or Puppy Linux Upup Precise - 3.8.3.1

Most of us use opera because we have older more resource limited computers, so it is really silly of google to do that.

I have solved my problem - simply by disabling Redirect to HTTPS extension (or disable Swiss Knife extension with the same features)

That has solved two more problems - bloken SSL Wikipedia links in Google search page and unclickable advanced search tools on the same page

So in my case there wasn't any "secret plans" from google.
P.S.: Don't forget report about this bug to the extension developers

Are you still able to use google encrypted? The problem with turning off swiss knife is that you are no longer redirected to the ssl version of google which is why use swiss knife.

I modified GSearch string in Search Engines
https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=%s&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest

And the same for Wikipedia search engine

I just solved this problem by deleting https://encrypted.google.com from my search engines and replacing it with https:///www.google.com . You do this by going to https://www.google.com , cut and paste it, right clicking the search box

Click create search engine. For the keyword use ssl.
