That pretty much depends on what you surf.

Yaa. You're right. I can't remember what I surfed, but I've ever saved like this! It becomes fast than previous version!

Is it just me or the opera crashing rate has been increased significantly ever-since version 7.0 and nothing changed even after updating again to the latest minor update. This crashing issue very rarely happen on version 6.5 by and order of magnitude.

Sadly, the crash rate is about the same as the previous one (version 7.0).

No worries. Perhaps you could try to roughly estimate the savings by surfing on the site that you always do every day.

Btw, let me ask you one question. Did u tried Opera Mini Next before Opera Mini version 7 out to market?

Unfortunately the update doesn't fix the bug with the line spacing. With Opera Mini and Next v7 the line spacing has changed from single to 1.5/double. More info here: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=1342942&t=1333529645&page=1#comment11998312

Except if it's not a bug but a feature. smile

Nevertheless, I'll report the issue using the "report a problem" tool.

And it still doesn't fix crashing as well as below bug.

It also occasionally display word close together as if no space between those two words. But after reload the page, it will display those two words with a space between them but the same error may sometime happen to other pair of words. It is weird at best.

Yes, I tried Opera Mini Next and I liked it. I marked that Mini is working faster than Mini Next on my phone. I don't know why, but it is!

One more thing, When I went to data usage in Opera Mini Next, every time it showed me this:

Suppose my data usage are 100 MBs and data savings are 75 MBs,

Original size: 100 MB
Received size: 25 MB

Data Savings Metere: 0% Data savings!

It was the problem with me in Mini Next. Data Savings metere always showed me 0% data savings!

Well, It's been no more with updated Mini.

PLEASE give us an option to toggle between tablet and phone UI. My ICS tablet is stuck with the phone UI and it looks horrible.

Steps:

Not fixed for me with Opera Mini 7.0.1 on a Motorola Photon attached to server s05-15.
In the image below of http://m.bgr.com/2012/04/16/googles-sergey-brin-apple-and-facebook-pose-huge-threat-to-internet-freedom/ a space is missing between:
"during" and "an" on the first line
"serious" and "threats" on the 3rd line
"forces" and "that" on the sixth line.

The spaces are present on the page in the Android browser and Opera Mobile 12

Nokia N8 T-Mobile USA - Opera Mobile 12, Opera Mini 7; Motorola i776 Boost Mobile USA - Opera Mini 4.4; Motorola WX400 Boost Mobile USA - Opera Mini 7; Motorola Photon PlatinumTel USA Opera Mini 7, Opera Mobile 12; Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - Opera 12

Starting today two issues has occurred:

1) Login on sites like MyOpera expires constantly (between session and even within minutes).

2) Speed dials become reset and forcing so called default speed dials to reappear. They become first before the custom speed dials, thus making it rather annoying issue.

It loads, but when I go to a site it pauses and then crashes.
Any suggestions?

Ugh! To hell with all these slight improvements. What we need is a major upgrade like - a better download manager that allows you to pause and resume failed downloads. The current pause/resume feature is USELESS, once you exit opera mini your paused downloads are PAINFULLY wiped-out. * Helmo's idea is also pretty good. Due to lack of this I always use a download manager like ADM pro and sometimes opera mobile to download - since not everything can be downloaded by only a Download Manager e.g from mediafire. Without these features Opera Mini will never be a complete browser to me. We have been singing the same song on the wish-list for years but no response, only dissapointing update after update. sad

This issue still exists on number of pages and especially on pages in Finnish where long combined compound words used.
