Haven't seen it here yet, but then again MS says only some XP systems will have the bug ... that is, I guess my system doesn't use the relevant DLLs.

All P4 and newer systems.

You didn't read, they listed specific DLLs. (And if you must know, this is an Atom system - I have no idea where it would rank in the "Pn" classes.)

I mean Pentium 4. Maybe also latest Pentium III. Earlier systems do not use them.

PS. The clock runs very fast if Opera uses Flash or if I use any USB devices (including WiFi) while Opera is running.
This problem first appeared about one or two months ago and exists only in 12.00.

Still there if you disable hardware acceleration?

One more similar issue. A little program plays a module (S3M/XM) file via BASS.DLL. When I start Opera, that program begins to play three to five times faster. Only 12.x builds, not 11.6x.

My clock is corrected via NPL's timeserver every 2 minutes. I noticed yesterday that after some intense use (flash and so on) the correction was ~6s for 2 mins. of use!
XP Pro SP3; 1GB RAM; Avast! AV; Comodo F/W; always the latest Opera!

Download an exe from http://sderni.ru/124496 (this exe plays MOD music), start it and then try to start Opera. Does the music continue to play correctly?

CONFIRMED also on an AMD Athlon 2400 with WinXP SP3. Two to five minutes per hour.

PS. There is also one more time related bug (and these bugs appeared almost simultaneously). Opera ignores the redraw time setting and always redraws instantly.

I installed Opera 12 on my XP system sometime last week. Immediately I noticed my clock running fast. Perhaps as much as an hour a day. If I'm not mistaken, this occurred with another Opera update about a year ago, too.

Because the mail address linked to the bug report was posted here, the bug report got spammed to death. Please don't do that in the future...
BTW, there's another bug report on this issue that is getting handled.
