Nomad browsing

This is a very revolucionary suggestion.
And Opera is the best browser that could implement it.
The concept is:
- i am in a PC anywhere;
- in some other part part of the world i may have a profile with: the pages i had open last time, my bookmarks, my email contacts, etc.
By some network protocol with a certain level of security, i could have the Browser synchronized with that profile. The mobility advantages are obvious:
- i have my preferences available in any place that has networked and the referred protocol is not firewalled.

It is not only advantages, but it has disadvantages too. It is likely to forget the browser open and other internaut steal my information. When the connection is not working, by any reason, the local and remote profile are not synchronized.

Is it a good idea the implementation of the nomad browsing?

If you connect to internet using a PC that is not yours, you'd first need to install Opera on that PC, than receive the customizations, from your roaming profile.

Installing applications on public PCs is not allowed, usually, so if you wish to bring with you all of your settings and the opera browser, you'd need to carry a USB key with you with Opera entirely installed on it.

I don't see any other solutions, form my point of view.

It is not unlikely the existence of Opera in another computer. And for people like me who have installations of Opera in several places (2 at the school, 1 at home, 1 at work, and more ...) it would be a very convenient feature. Even for people that uses the "USB Opera", because they would have a profile in the flash disk and in the remote profile. The occurence of lost/stolen pens is not so rare and the data loss is even more frequent.

My english is not perfect, but i think you understand it. Sorry.

Roaming profiles for Opera would be brilliant.

So would a session manager application allowing me to browse and edit old session files....
