HTML5 web apps

Hi guys

Opera mobile has a great HTML5 score, but i found it useless as must of the webapps doesn't support it! like google web apps m.google.com, with opera it show u the normal version but wen using the native browsers like the Android/iOS one it give u the html5 one even though these browsers has less HTML5 compatibilities!

Opera should work on that and get in touch with Google for example to redirect opera users for the web app version, otherwise it painful using opera as a main browser!

maybe adding ability to modify the user agent to droid/iphone get us the html5 version???

thanks

Try to use custom user-agent. You'll find that in User prefs in Opera:config. In box (Custom user agent), type any device or OS name and it'll work!
Eg. Android, iPhone, Windows
Operating Systems:
Microsoft® Windows® 7 Ultimate (x64)
Microsoft® Windows® 7 Home Premium (x64)
Microsoft® Windows® XP (x86)
Google Android™ 2.3.4
Google Android™ 4.0.4

Browsers:
Opera 12.15 (x86 / x64)
Opera for Android™ Beta 14.0
Opera Mobile™ 12.1.4
Opera Mini™ 7.5.2

I'v tried, no such a option! when I search for user agent in Opera:config, it only shows Spoof User Agent, which doesn't include any mobile option. (Stupidly just desktop browsers!)

Yes..Now I can say that you're using Opera Mobile 11.5 Labs.smile
I don't know much about MeeGo OS.
Ya...Facebook touch site support need to be improved (No tricks can solve this problem cry) Improvment is also needed for Google Mobile. Opera Mobile will view normal mobile site. If you use User Agent Android, Opera Mobile will view Google's touch version.

Yes! It's perfect way to request! Request for one more User-Agent: Android or iPhone. This both work for Google touch. (I've tested it).

Microsoft® Windows® 7 Ultimate (x64)
Microsoft® Windows® 7 Home Premium (x64)
Microsoft® Windows® XP (x86)

I know...that's a problem, HTML5 web apps can't be used on Opera Mobile.sad
This support should be added like online games....but problem is where to get required keys for game like arrow keys? Its impossible on full touch devices.
It's hard to add support for this..
I also wanna play online games on phone.

I can't find the proper words to request Opera for this. cry
