Embedding YouTube Vids

For some reason, I seem to suddenly be unable to embed YouTube vids in comments, using either the old or the new embedding codes. This was never the case in the past. Am I doing something wrong, or have the rules been changed?
TIA ...

Please use the dedicated Video button on the My Opera compose screen to add Youtube URLs. Don't worry about embedding code, let us deal with that wink

Edit: Pressing "Edit" on your comment will open up the post editor.

I'm sorry, but I am unable to find a "Video" button, dedicated or undedicated, anywhere. Nor am I able to find a MyOpera "Compose screen", except in the mail. I'm not trying to mail the vid; I'm trying to embed it in a comment.
Am I to understand that if I simply add the YouTube URL, and post that, that somehow you chaps will chase it down, and do the embedding? A very busy staff you must have!
But I still can't find a "Video" button.

Many thanks ... it seems to work, at least most of the time. The last time, I did the same thing, but all I got was a little red "Video" in the corner. Clicking it transported me to YouTube. The same as if I'd just posted the URL.
Strange ...

Yuo have to make sure Youtube-videos you embed have embedding enabled. Not all videos have this enabled, and that's usually why you'll see the "Video" text-linkinstead of the actual video.

Many sites do this differently and show the first frame of the video instead, but when you try to play it you get a "Embedding disabled" message. I find this a bit bad, because the person who shared the video might never try to play the video after embedding, and won't notice that embedding has been disabled.

There should be an "Edit" link under your comment, or you can use the "Quote" link on the comment you answer to open up the editor which among other things has a dedicated video button:
