Ignore automatically inserted line breaks/word wrap in mail replies

Probably a minor thing, but something that's bugging me frequently for quite some time now.

When viewing e-mails, Opera ignores line breaks which are inserted by the "automatic word wrap" feature of the sender (in fact, most of my contacts have this activated). But when replying to such a mail, the line breaks of the original mail will be used in the reply text.

As a short example, consider the following sent text:

====
This is a testmail with line breaks.
====

A mail client sending this mail with an automatic word wrap after, say, 15 characters, would send the following text:

====
This is a
testmail with
line breaks.
====

but Opera would still show the original text without line breaks (which is good).

However, when replying to this mail, Opera will generate the following:

====
> This is a
> testmail with
> line breaks.
====

instead of the expected

====
> This is a testmail with line breaks.
====

When sending mails with lots of text it can be cumbersome to have the lines word-wrapped after a certain amount of characters (and for people with many contacts, it is also no option to ask every contact to change his/her word wrap settings).

It would be nice to have an option to advice Opera to ignore those automatically inserted line breaks in mail replies.
Since Opera does so already when viewing received mails, I figure it wouldn't take much effort to activate this behavior for mail replies.

What do you think?
