Alt + S saves draft even with shortcuts disabled
Alt + S saves draft even when shortcuts are disabled in settings. Not to mention that the actual shortcut is stated in the UI as Ctrl + S. The main problem is I can't enter one of Polish letters which accidentally is under Alt + S.Windows XP SP3

I really can't reproduce the alt key saving. It should definitely be ctrl as stated in the tooltip. Are you sure you don't have a custom keyboard mapping of some kind? It sounds as though there may be a weird conflict somewhere.
I *think* save should be treated the same as other keyboard shortcuts, but I'm not 100% sure, so we'll take care of that issue internally. Thanks

I've tested in OS X, Windows 7 and Ubuntu. I don't foresee that XP would be any different, could it be something to do with your OS locale (polish?) perhaps? Does the Alt key function as Ctrl in any other circumstance?

Confirmed on another machine - Vista SP2. On both affected machines the keyboard layout is "Polish (Programmers)" which is standard in Poland.
It sounds as though we can't really do anything about that at our end
You could perhaps try re-mapping the key in your OS if it's truly bothersome, but that's a little outside of our area of expertise here
We'll still look in to disabling saving with keyboard shortcuts turned off to alleviate the symptom though, but no promises on if/when that will happen.

You will find that disabling keyboard shortcuts will work for saving too, when we roll out our next update. I hope that helps!

It is some sort of a workaround but those with Polish key layout and willing to use kb shortcuts would be more happy to see the shortcut working + the letter alt+s is supposed to give.
Furthermore, do you still confirm that it's per design that alt+s triggers save while tooltip over the save button clearly states 'Ctrl+S'?

No, that's not our doing. We have nothing to do with alt+s functioning the same as ctrl+s in your case. By our design it should be ctrl+s only. I would guess that the behaviour you are seeing is most likely due to your Windows locale. It may be possible that different browsers give you a different result too, I'm not sure - but it might be worth a shot

Ah, right, stupid I
If that's the case then let me know if I can provide you with any info from the affected machines (I have access to two of them) please let me know. That is if you plan to investigate it further and it's not just some quirk.

We won't be investigating this further, since it's not within our control.
