I don't think so. Many wishes posted here are viable. Some require more work, some require more CPU/memory, but many of them are really viable. So, a poll with all viable features would be... viable.

(ok, I will stop with this semi-off-topic)
I want it to be able to play audio and vid streams have tabs upload photo option saved photo folder copy paste click email addy on a site and load email to email built in im capability i want to multi task

Yes.There is a way to view pdf on almost every phone. You will need a gmail account. Download a pdf file, then send it to your gmail address, go to m.gmail.com and find your letter. Gmail will convert pdf, xls etc to html. Enjoy!
But why all that when the SSR server could be adapted to convert PDF, DOC, XLS, etc to OML (the stuff you eventually get to see on your phone)?
1. To come back to some tab later. It works like a "session-only quick-bookmark". Also to quickly store links to read later on same session.
2. To quick-switch between tabs.
3. To load them in parallel (so, to load them quicker).
Considering the limitations of almost no extra available memory, the first item can be satisfied.
Depending on how big the pages are, how much memory is available and also how offline-caching can be done, then the items 2 and 3 can also be satisfied.
How about the interface? I was thinking about some combination to bring up a speed-dial-like screen, where each "button" would mean one "tab". So, people can load up to 9 (or 12, or maybe just a few) different pages at same time.
Since memory is a problem, many times (or most times?) switching to another tab would mean redownload the page from Opera server (but NOT RELOAD it from original server).
Well, I'm just trying to be creative. Do you know that quote? "Anyone who says something is impossible is always being interrupted by someone doing it."
Before Opera Mini, people thought it would be impossible to browse any website on your poor mobile phone...
CrazyTerabyte: Did I ever say tabs are impossible? It was jast an example of a typical wish

But it would require at least twice more memory than OM requires now (without reloading from transcoder; otherwise having history is enough).

It's already possible with some LG phones by standard (which converts them on-the-fly), Google already does it with their Gmail mobile website...

That could be done easily I assume, however this is both a client and (SSR) server issue.

It's work already. But not in every situation. It's seem that it's work only when the link is the named anchor only, without the page url. E.g. #comment2059411 work, but http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=190465&page=1#comment2059411 don't work.
Wish list:
Different image handling:
either the ability to load images under a certain size (icons for instance)
or to designate certain pages which always load images and leave the WWW at large image free
Importing/Exporting bookmarks, settings etc (maybe i already can do this?)

I like this idea! But... on a second thought, maybe that's not very useful. I still prefer the idea to select an image and ask Opera Mini to manuallty load this image. (useful to check if the link I am about to follow is actually the link I want to follow)

I think I would want a better interface for partioning or even a simpler way to find what you're looking for. It would be nice to be able to not have to go down to the bottom or back to the top each time you want to move to a different section, and It would be nice to not have to go through each one (ex: 1,2,3,4, etc.)...
Tabs would be great, even if there were only 2 due to memory issues.
Also, It would be kind of nice to have a setting of how much memory you want to be displayed on a page. Some phones can handle less and some can handle more so it would be nice to use it on your choice. Maybe Opera would be able to detect the power of your phone, also.
It would be good if you could make it look like a normal webpage and be able to zoom in and out, but be able to switch to the current Mini format quickly, depending on how much information is on the page. I find myself not being able to understand, on some sites for example, if I'm using a search bar or a login bar.
A live RSS ticker on the bottom of the page would be cool. Or a popup on the bottom. Or a counter on the bottom.
An easier way to get to subscribe to RSS pages would be good by just intering a site's URL and have Opera search for an RSS feed on that page and automatically adding it, and if there's more than one, allowing us to choose. It would be nice to have the RSS feeds in the menu, too.
Maybe someway to integrate simple widgets such as a calculator or weather (for those of us whose phones just don't understand the concept of multitasking...)
I think Opera would somehow be able to integrate Flash Lite into the browser for phones who can support it. If they don't have it, it doesn't work. Simple as that. This would open up a developer's imagination when creating a mobile site. A lot. lol.
Skin customization. It could be as simple as scroll bar, header and footer, and start page colors. That would be nice.
A "tab" (the keyboard button kind. lol) option maybe? To switch between blanks. Somehow it seems it would work.
DON'T GET RID OF THE PHONE'S NATIVE TEXT INPUT!!! I like it. lol. It's how you're used to typing and it would majorly slow things down if it was changed to in-app input. Grr.
A connection to Opera Photos would be awesome so we could upload photos straight from that to a site, or even just view it and add pics in-browser.
Landscape view.
In-browser video, audio, video streaming, and audio streaming (for phones that can support any of these features)
Like I said before, an RSS link in the menu. But I want a search link too (for searching the web...and an option to search the site you're on for text, too).
Btw, why is Yahoo! the only search option? It's a good search but if I found a link on a different engine before on a desktop or in the browser, I want to be able to easily search again.
I wanna zoom aaaaaaall the way out and jump to a part of the page if it's a longer page. When viewing it this way, too, maybe the site could somehow turn to an image so you could view the WHOLE PAGE with no dividers. So if you're looking for something, you'll find it quick.
Make it smell like fresh laundry and it's perfect.
Make these happen por favor!

I think it does autodetect. I remember my old Nokia 3100 having most pages partitioned in small pieces, and even then it ran out of memory very quickly. Now, on SE K750i, I don't remember seeing one page partitioned (since this phone has almost 1MB of heap memory, IIRC).

Not sure if that's easy to do, because all "processing" is done server-side. Even the RSS feeds are managed server-side. So, instead of adding "widgets", someone can just make some small page and access it using Opera Mini.

Point 1: I don't think it is possible to access Flash Lite using Java.
Point 2: I would hate that.

Point 3: What's the purpose of Flash (lite) on mobile sites? Waste more bandwidth? Make then a lot less accessible?
Point 3.5: What's the purpose of Flash-based (desktop) sites? Make them fancier and slower and more annoying? Disable all nice features of a browser (like right-click, middle-click, keyboard navigation, user-js or user-css)? Or just make them non-accessible?
(I should stop because this discussion is off-topic)
upon exit, empty history and save cookies so you don't have to enter name/pwd for frequently used pages but memory is clear on startup...
now I have to do #5, clear all, yes, exit, confirm ...too many clicks!!
and, when in landscape, have option left or right rotation...
that ain't enough ...I want the scroll buttons that are "smart" enough to know what the orientation is and adjust to logical array...
oh yeah...how 'bout peace on earth (throw that in for free!!) Some internal web browsers are able to do it (ex. sony eriksson k610i)... would mean a great improvement for opera mini from my point of view

I don't like you very much. lol!
But, I mean, if you could access flash lite with java, why not? You could turn settings off...(block flash lite access)
And people with 3G phones wouldn't have as much as a problem. SO HA!
*flails arms* whutcha gonna do about it!? HUH!? ERRRRG!
lol... Ok I'm done.

It's not. The Opera Team already said so. Unless they found out something within the time they said that and now, it seems we'll have to wait until phones get a little more advanced. Seems really close though... I think some phones already have flash support, actually... yep, little off subject. I should stick a request in here so it's not off subject... hm...
OH! I thought of something. Auto-refreshing and redirecting. I want that. Especially on sites where you can't even go forward until it redirects you... Cingular/At&t is an example of this: when logging in, it sits at the "logging in" screen and the only way to go on is when it redirects you to enter another safety code.
I have a couple more I'll put in my previous post.

That means, pressing the * twice. Also, read built-in help in Opera Mini. There is valuable info about shortcuts.
2. At opera mini, users can navigate the page using Joystick only. I think opera mini should allow to users to navigate pages using keypad buttons. For example, it should be like this: 2=up , 8=down , 4=left, 6=right, 5=clicking/enter.
3. Opera mini should allow users to upload any file from mobile's harddisk/memory card. This is a very important feature.
Bye

+1 for some fix for this. The joystick keeps breaking down...
- save as... in filesystem, not rms
- tabs, open selected link in new tab
- bookmark selected link
- bookmarks export as htm in filesystem, not rms
- photoblog and feeds-like menu items, not bookmrks
- photoblog local save photo in phone also
- more search engines (google), ability to add manually from site like Opera desktop
Keep up the good work and best wishes! Posted from mini v3.1
