Still does not show all labeled messages
Win7, Opera Next, POP.This has been reported long ago, still not fixed in beta.
I have an email account that receives mostly spam that is labeled as such by rules. When I select the spam label, select all messages in the list, and do delete, all selected messages are deleted, but same new messages appear in the list from nowhere.
My best guess is that spam often contains identical messages and not all copies are displayed in the list.

Uncheck "show duplicates" (and "show hidden") to check for more copies.

Is this with Gmail IMAP?
Have you tested in a standalone installation (do not import anything) to make sure it's not just your profile/mail folder that's messed up?
No, it is with the corporate tech support box. The address is old and mostly attracts spam.
As this happened today, I could check the effect of "show duplicates" - undeleted all from trash, duplicated the problem, undeleted again, showed duplicates, and was able to delete all spam in one select.
Thus, the problem is that when Delete is applied to a message that has duplicate(s), the duplicates are not affected.

Duplicates are not tied to each other in any way in Opera, so yeh, that's expected that the non-selected ones don't get deleted.
Now, for all your views, you should have "show duplicates" checked and you should have "show spam" unchecked. Then, when you get a spam message that Opera recognized as spam, it'll only show in "All Messages/Spam". "All Messages/Spam" should have "show duplicates" checked. Then, whenever you want to empty spam, just ctrl + a and then shift + delete and they'll all be gone.
If you're using IMAP and you want spam messages moved to a spam folder also, make sure to set the "spam" folder on the IMAP tab in the account's properties.
If the IMAP server automatically sorts spam messages into the spam folder and you don't need spam filtering in Opera at all, you can disable the spam filter for the account.
If you do use Opera's spam filter, right-click on "All Messages/Spam" and set its properties to what you want. For example, if you want Opera to learn from what messages you mark/unmark as spam, make sure "learn from labeled messages" is checked on the "options" tab. Then, if you mark a message that has duplicates as spam, those duplicates will be marked as spam too. Just note that if you haven't trained the spam filter for a long time, you'll have to go into "All Messages/Spam" and unmark a lot of false positives for a while till Opera learns. Take note of the "only apply to n ew" setting too. If you want Opera to scan existing messages, uncheck that.
Just note though that while training Opera with IMAP where you have spam moved to an spam folder, you'll want to make sure to unmark false positives before the next automatic clearing of the spam folder the server does.
Now, back to views besides "All Messages/Spam". When you see a message that should be marked as spam, you just mark it as spam so it disappears from the view and only shows in "All Messages/Spam".
So, you shouldn't really have a problem as spam messages will be in "All Messages/Spam" where it should be set to "show duplicates".
If you don't want any more discussion about it, you can use the report link and asked for it to be closed. Or, if you can edit the title, you can add "resolved" to it in some way. But, someone might have something to add in the future, so you might want to just keep it open.
