BT Openzone Cannot Connect using Opera
I use the BT openzone Wifi hotspots and when I try to connect on the log in page with Opera I use my UI and Password and then click to log in then the browser redirects to a blank page up o the address bar it says JavaScript Probe stays on this page for a long or sometimes short ammount of time then goes back to the log in page. If I use IExplorer I can log in just fine and am doing this as a workaround for now hough I don't really want to use this as a permanent solution. Any suggestions?Presumably BT = British Telephone? No way for those of us not in the area to test ... maybe changing browser ID for the login page would work. Before entering your ID, right-click on the page and select "Edit Site Preferences..." On the Network tab, there's a setting for "Browser Identification"; change it to one of the other settings and click OK, then reload the page and see if it works. If not, try again with a different setting.
Tried the different ID's and masking settings. I think it is a security thing I think opera is trying to protect form accessing the network as it is unsecured. don't know how to correct this though.
