Addressbar suggestion settings do not take effect.I'm having an issue in Linux, Opera 12 Beta, build 1387, where the configuration settings for disabling suggestions in the address field are ignored.
These settings are all disabled, yet there remains a dropdown box prompting me to "find in page" or suggesting bookmarks:
Addressbar Inline Auto Completion
Addressfield: mix search engine suggestions with history
Page Content Search Results in addressfield completion
Show Bookmarks in Addressfield Dropdown
Show dropdown button in addressfield
Show history in addressfield dropdown
Show search suggestions in addressfield dropdown
The fact that Opera insists I want to see suggestions is insulting; were I wishing to go to a bookmarked page, I would utilize the handy and helpful "Bookmarks" menu. I do not record History, so I am unable to comment on the efficacy of the "Show History in Addressfield Dropdown" switch.
Also, there are no explanations provided for any of the settings in this release (clicking the "?" button to the right on the config page). Is that due to the fact that this is a Beta and a work in progress?
