importing passwords from other browers, or password managers

I like opera, and peticularly on mobile devices (tablet) but I've kept firefox (and still use it extensively) because it has all my passwords, bookmarks, etc.. Bookmarks are easy but one thing opera DOES NOT do is import the most important things; passwords.
I have a couple hundred. There's no way I'm retyping all of them..
I certainly hope the developers look into this problem because if an experienced computer user is fustrated they cannot expect people who are less technically minded to switch from ie for example.

Thanks for listening
Geo

oh dear. You wrote May 7 & no replies? I hear the sound of crickets... not a good sign. Thought I was doing something wrong; have to manually enter each login as well. They have got to be joking.

I agree with you #freeball i am searching for such tool too, because when i sync my opera for example it deletes all my passwords. Good thing i have backup-ed the wand.dat, yet simple overwrite doesn't work.
