I don't understand the meaning of MyOpera
Probably it has been discussed many times already.I guess it is obvious that MyOpera is almost unusable as community.
Basically it is impossible to look for anything in the middle of this soup of spam and languages you don't understand or even different alphabets that are pushed in your face regardless. You get an idea of what is MyOpera nowadays by looking at "blogs" and "members" pages.
If Opera plans to shut down this sort of abandoned ghetto I would like to be informed in advance.
Thanks.

Sure, I just need to know when I have to move my stuff somewhere else BEFORE it finally dies.
And I would also like to read something that actually answers what I have written above that is there and everybody can see it.
Edit: it would also be interesting to know who at Opera actually uses MyOpera. My guess is nobody.

The trolling is still being performed by the troll who seems to have missed blogs like the Opera news blog, desktop team blog, etc.
Slamdex, when you stop drinking and taking drugs maybe you could consider that when I say "who uses MyOpera" I mean people who use it for their own personal use, not for providing "news" on Opera products. Besides they could as well use a simple forum like most software vendors do, without any need of a "community" (that includes a blogging platform, file hosting, etc).
sgunhouse, I have been on MyOpera since 2006.
If this is the result of 6 years of "progress" maybe we would get some community functions by year 2052.
The "why" is that providing a Web service to million people costs money. And a firm spends money when there is some revenue.
Google is shutting down services every day when they think they aren't paying or they don't match a new strategy like Google+.
Again, I ask everybody to go looking the "blogs" and "members" pages in the "community" area.
Then tell me if they make sense or not.
