11.64 Update - No Tabs No Navigation

Firstly, I apologise if I have missed the blindingly obvious but I cannot for the life of me see where it can be...

I have installed Opera on my parents computer and they have been delighted with it. They have updated to 11.64 but now have something that cannot be remotely described as a useful browser. The Opera icon, that provided all the page/print/bookmarks etc previously is now just an Opera logo with the page title tag. If you right click on this you just the Restore/Minise/Maximise dialogue box.

There is no address bar or search bar. Finally the back and forward arrow buttons have gone as have the home button.

Finally, the preferences tab has also disappeared from the bottom left hand corner.

The computer is running a celeron processor with Windows Vista Home premium.

Ant assistance is grateful received. With many thanks

That's the Windows title bar. They have managed to disable the address bar, that's all. Touch the Alt key and open the Toolbars submenu to re-enable it.

I had this exact problem until I rebooted my computer, a step not mentioned in the update instructions. You will probably find that your bookmarks will also be AWOL until you reboot.

Many thanks for the replies.

I had already tried a reboot and this did not make any difference unfortunately. Thanks anyway, Stropper.

Pesala, I shall try your work around next time that I am there.

Many thanks again.
