If someone asked me for money to buy gas to go joy riding I wouldn't but if they need it to go to work, hospital, appointment, meet the needs of their family then yes I would.
My sister works across town and I have been bugging her to go get her drivers license as it is a long walk esp. in the seasons where we have shorter periods of light. In this world where people are getting more desperate some people just have a harder time making ends meet but if your life is cut short because someone snuffs you, what good are you to your family.
She just lost her husband and works a job that brings her to different locales of the community and from being on the most westerly end and travels to the most easterly end it is quite a walk to get to work when required to go to that area.
Since she lost her husband and waiting for the pension to kick in I've seen her scramble to get her bus pass which doesn't run late her as sometimes she works until 12 am depending on who she is working with or even to get meals for while she is at work.
God says that if we meet the needs of others he will take care of our needs.
