We have released an update for Opera Mini 7.0 for Android.

  • Fixed connection problems when proxy is set up in the system

Update is available now in Android Market and will be available on our servers later. All users are recommended to update.

Big thanks to all of you for your constant support.
You are the ones that keep us going so please continue to give us feedback on the forum.
Also please report issues using 'Report a problem' tool in Help (add as many details as possible no matter how irrelevant you think they might be. Especially: ROM you have, any modifications you did to the system, etc.)

Thanks for the update, it sure fixed some connection problems i faced ( Don't know if they're even related )
I'm facing some random blank pages ( 2-3 times a day, not really something that would worry about, but still ) in this update though.

Can we have an option to have "X Large Font Size" for the latest smartphones, like HTC One X or the Samsung Galaxy S3, which have high-res screen. The large font is still way too small.

Please....
Thx!

Still no 7.03 for Poland.
I have 7.029952

Anyway Opera Mini continuously is dropping
it's ball performance wise.
More and more crap in the performance.

Pocketnow is not usable when Zoomed in anymore.

http://www.tvn24.pl/
doesn't open any article
but it's constantly reloading the whole site.

Is it possible to make it FINALLY work?!
All the time the same bullshit problems.
For years.

Maybe the whole concept is just not possible to polish?
I'm surprised Opera is not able to improve it but concentrates on bullshit functions instead.
Guys get this right finally.

Strange thing happened today.
I opened Opera Mini as usually but this time, it didn't started directly, it re-installed itself. I saw the screen which appears when it is opened first time after installing from Google Play Store. irked
But when it finished installation, I saw nothing new. I mean there were only my old settings. No welcome page, all cookies and other things were at its place. My old speed-dials were also there. Nothing was chenged.

Can someone tell me, what was this?

I am using Galaxy S3 and the following problems

1) The font, even with the Large Font, is still too small
2) the link does not correspond to the screen area (which means, tapping on the link doesn't register anything as the link is actually somewhere else)

Please help....

@mvthakar : Opera Mini just seems refreshed, but the user data remains the same, so the launch was the first time, but nothing has changed, so I had when upgrading 7.2 to 7.3

The font is too tiny on displays with high pixel density, such as on Galaxy Note, Nexus, SIII etc. Even the "large" font size is too small!
Would you add another size option, "LARGEST", please?
Thank you.

It seems a lot of Samsung Galaxy users have problems with Opera Mini. I'm pretty sure Opera Mini Team is working on the issue since Samsung Galaxy is a popular android.

Saved passwords keep being erased and scrolling page while still loading is very jerky on Galaxy S3, so as always on Android if they add new features the stability gets flushed down the s***ter, so i'll have to install an earlier version until it's fixed.

I found two bugs:

bug 1. Sometimes hangs while switching between tabs quickly and I have to close it through Application Manager.

bug 2. I'll discribe onther with an example.
I don't know either it's a bug or a rendering problem:

Suppose I searched something on Facebook, then pressed back an selected 'More stories'.
But instead of disppaying more stories, it displayed a photo story posted by a friend.

Please, fix these sad

It also has continuous problem with www.pocketnow.com
It opens the preview minimized to an absurd,
and cannot handle scrolling when zoomed in.
I beg you Opera, do something.

Thanks for the design in the feeds, it looks good.
Unfortunately there's a bug: the posts text is cropped on the right side, for instance (errors in green):

Guys open and login Facebook in opera mini next or in mini 7.
Now see page display and set ur mind's memory 2-3 years back. U will realize it is the same opera mini having primitive style display technology.

Thanks developers outstanding work.

Opera Mini opens basic Facebook looks, suited to every browser.
It's probably because of servers rendering....

Facebook tiene el mismo problema en todas las versiones para Android. En un celular se ve bien a pantalla completa, pero en una tablet se deforma. Con la página de Internet pasa lo mismo, es "delgada" por defecto.

Facebook is most used website in the universe after Google.
facebook open well in android user agent mode in all browsers like dolphin hd, mini, uc, maxthon, skyfire.
so i dnt think this problem is because of facebook. operamini should check and rectify this problem soon.

The amount of server timed out error is ridiculous, using wifi, internet connection isn't a problem, exiting opera mini and reopening fixes the issue but really annoying.
