AMD64 and operaHi,
I just tested ubuntu on my desktop and noticed that it isn't possible to install opera under ubuntu.
Because I'm planning to use ubuntu as only operating system on my laptop who also uses a amd64 bit processor. I wonder if its possible to install the i368 version of opera (or ubuntu) under an amd 64 processor?
You can use Opera on 64-bit linux, but you need to have the 32-bit libraries. And yes, you can also run the i386 version of Linux on a 64-bit processor, if you don't want to mess with having both versions of the libraries. Your choice. But since Opera is a 32-bit program, it won't run on a pure 64-bit system.
