Opera is not saving user id's and passwords in my most important groupI am trying to qualify Opera browser for my particular usage.
I use Google Reader for RSS feeds. I have seven different user id's based on subject. For a browser to work for me, it needs to save those id's and their password. I have checked the right box to save this information, and I even see the first three that I entered in the list in Options. But, they are not showing up in the browser bookmark form box on a click or double click. For me that is a complete downer. I have two blogs, I work fast to get my news, I do not have time to enter what are relatively long user id's and an eight character alphanumeric password.
If you enter a new username and password - can be a fake one - does Opera show the dialog asking if you want to save that username/password info?

What do you call "bookmark form box"?
Intel Q6600 - 6GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce GT520 1GB
I am sure that you know, in Firefox and SeaMonkey - I mostly use the SeaMonkey browser - one just double clicks in the "Sign in" box (what I inadvertently called the "bookmark form box". Double click and the userid's just pop, the whole list, and I select and then the proper user id and password load.
Thanks for your help.
Opera did a good job of copying images and pasting them into a Wordpress blog post. But one other important place I had trouble was copying a link from a bookmark and pasting that in to create a link from some text. I could not right click on the link and get a context menu from which to copy. I needed to be in Bookmark Manager to do that. In fact, if necessary, I can keep the bookmark manager open on its own tab the whole time i am writing a post and do everything from the manager. That is O.K., but, is that in fact necessary? Is there some setting or add-on which would allow me to do my work from the main bookmark menu?
[This is actually going quite well. I have templates built in .html, with MS-Word as the editor, I copy them from the Word file and paste them in and they rendered beautifully. So, this might be my last question.
If all goes well, I will make Opera the default browser for a full month in one machine. If that goes well, six other machines.]
