as ice cream sandwich becomes more than a few per cent of android users, chrome and ff may become an issue on smrt phones. They have their fanboys - and it's likely google may exempt opera entirely from it's interfaces for groups, picasa, blogger, etc etc..

Wrong forum, since of course it isn't about Opera. Moved to Lounge/Software forum. (Though by this time I doubt if any buyout will happen.)

Hope so. It would probably not change my browser choice. But I have been rather worried about its impact on blogging at my.opera.com

If they're bought by someone who understands the damage spam can do to search engine ranking, then maybe we'd start seeing my.opera blogs ranking and alot more of the site getting a higher profile.

You sound like that is something very important! jester

What I like about my.opera.com is its not for commercial principle, and still (or therefore) so easy to find interesting like-minded people and make good friends, who are not just numbers. I honestly can't care less for random people coming through search engines.

I do agree the spammers have to be dealt with more swiftly. knight
