Help! Opera Email Client Blocked...

Hello Opera Forums,

the thing is, my Opera email client is completely locked down, no mail gets in and no mail gets out. All the rest seems to be working just fine.

I´ve several email accounts and until this morning everything was just peachy. RSS Feeds still work.

Any suggestions? And please don´t say Thunderbird... :-)

BTW, I´m using Windows 7 64 Bit.

About Opera, Version: 11.64, Build: 1403, Platform: Win32, System: Windows 7.

Retype your username and password for both the incoming and outgoing servers in the account's properties.

Did you recently install anti-virus? If so, does it have an e-mail scanner? If so, turn it off. Also, exclude Opera's mail folder from realtime protection and scans.

Also, what does the log say?

Did you adjust system proxy settings recently? Firewall settings?

Setup the account in a standalone installation to see if it works. If using POP (you didn't say, but thanks for the other info), just make sure not to uncheck "leave messages on server".

Hello again burnout426 and thanks for your reply.

I really had no time to wait and cover all those angles so I went postal with it (this was before your reply). I backed up the emails, deleted the accounts and started fresh. Everything is back on track and version 12 is bangin´!
