Youtube not working with O12
YouTube doesn't seem to be working. I confirmed that Flash 11.3 is installed correctly. All I get in place of the video, is a black rectangle. Not even the video controls show up. It's as if Flash doesn't work or something, because Vimeo doesn't work either. Here's a screenshot:

Nice, huh? It works perfectly alright in every other browser.
Windows 7 x64 SP1.

Sing-in http://www.youtube.com/ with your account.
Go to this link: http://www.youtube.com/html5
At the end of page click to : Join HTML 5 trial.
I had the same black rectangle instead of video, but not for all videos. My problem disappeared when I un-checked the Join HTML 5 trial box.

Finally found a fix, go to edit site preferences -> cookies and delete all the cookies and then reload the page, worked for me after all the other solutions failed
I had the same problem. Black screen and nothing happened.
opera's youtube downloader extension was the problem, so when I removed it, opera is the same again...
to remove it I went:
tools -> extensions -> manage extensions -> remove youtube download toolbar

I actually have it sort-of-working *with* the download plugin. It may be a different one, though.
I did see the black (missing player) rectangle once, and after restarting opera, it worked again. I don't see how this could be blaimed on a plugin though - the player is a flash embed, and that's the thing that seems to fail to load or something like that.
On top of that, it's not reproducible on-demand, so to speak, further strengening the indication that it is not due to a plugin - after all, a plugin is always there, or never there. Some kind of weird thing going on in flash or in the browser is out of my control, and might result in something not-reproducible. I do really think this problem exists in the browser, not in a plugin (or in the user
