opera mini 4 for samsung corby
hi .. how are you ??sorry if this question was asked before ..
my opera mini 4 is failed to connect to the net .. although my other apps can do that !!..
it's not the first time i face the same problem , i usually do nothing to this problem and it's solved automatically .. but it takes a long time ,,
i can't wait this time now .. as i'm addicted to use opera mini !!
..any idea ?

Try this:
From your Opera Mini 4 go to Tools > Settings > Scroll all the way down to Network > set Protocol to Socket.
If that doesn't solve the problem, turn of your phone and turn it back on. See if your Opera Mini connects automatically afterwards.
If that doesn't work, try using a proxy:
(sample proxy settings with Globe Telecom)
1. go to
MENU>BROWSER>SETTINGS>BROWSER PROFILES>CREATE PROFILE
SET NAME: (any name)
ACCES NAME: http.globe.com.ph
AUTH TYPE: NORMAL
USER ID:
PASSWORD:
PROTOCOL: HTTP
HOME URL: http://wap.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
PROXY address: 64.255.180.253:80
Linger time (sec): 300
2. save it as default profile.
3. go to.
APPLICATION>GAMES>then click MORE>CONNECTIONS>Click the settings you created.
4. go to.
SETTINGS>DISPLAY AND LIGHT>WIDGET>SETTINGS>WIDGET PROFILES>Click the settings you created.
