Opera for Samsung r375c

Hello All.

Someone might've posted this question already, but I SWEAR, I didn't see a thread for it. I just bought a Walmart Straight Talk Samsung r375c, and read that I could install opera mini on it. Now, I know what you're thinking, yea, it's a cheap phone, but after spending $200 on an LG Optimus Q, 2months ago, only to have it completely stop working on me....I'm having a hard time justifying that kind money again on an Android phone. I was a faithful BB user for many years, but just got fed up with the length of time it took RIM to make any significant changes in terms of apps and customer service.
So, I sprung for this little phone, mostly because it resembles a BB, and I got real sick of that stupid touchscreen, as I was butt dialing and thumb dialing everybody and their mother (yea, I had screen lock on, but of course that took some seconds to kick in). And let's not mention the economy...trying to cut back where I can.

I'm going through "smartphone" withdrawal, and IT'S HELL!!!
And I'd at least like to have a super cool browser on my little Samsung. I've searched the web high and low for downloads for my phone model, but either can't find it, or have seen it and didn't recognize what it was, because it was couched all in "techie" speak.

I would just like to know the following:
1. Is there such a thing as opera mini browser for my Samsung r375c?
2. If it exists, where can I find a link to download it?
3. What's the best method for downloading it?
I'm guessing that this model is kinda old (Walmart likes to do crap like that), and this could all be an internet myth.

Here's all the techie stuff I know about the phone:
it's a : CMDA phone.

I've no clue what that means, or if it's even important. I do know that I will now and forever be lost without a smartphone, cause I am DIRECTIONALLY CHALLENGED when it comes to driving someplace. Yea, I have a Garmin gps, but guess what? That piece of crap stopped working TOO!
LOL
Anyhoo, thanks for listening and I hope some kind soul out there will provide me with the answers I seek.

I have the same problem. Cannot get opera mini to load on the same phone. tried all the versions on the opera.mobile site and the phone seems to start to connect for download, then just quits and nothing happens. I am wondering if it needs a memory card which I do not have in it? All I want to do is to be able to check email

I have opera 4 installed on my r375c and it is wonderful. I tried opera 7 and it tends to freeze up. The opera 4 is not as pretty as opera 7 but works much better on my phone.
