blocks seen on google.com

hi. whenever I search in google.com in opera mini and mobile, the characters appear in blocks rather than English. also my default searches are not customized according to my country. I am from India. the search results appear in general.

Do you mean the search suggest thing? BTW what is your language? AFAIK in India quite a few are spoken.

its the written things on google.com by default. like the search button and other words mentioned on google.com. all of them appear in blank rectangular blocks and not in words.

How about other websites? And if you go to config: and set Bitmap fonts for complex scripts, does it work? Note, it might use more transfer.

Are you trying to read Hindi fonts?
If so, Does your phone support the Hindi language?

no I am not trying to use Hindi fonts. my default language is set to English. it's by default selecting some other language by itself.
