[Bug] Opera "identify as" failing on qbo.intuit.com after login

once logged in to quickbooks, intuit's website comes back with :
======
"Sorry, but it seems you are running an outdated version of Firefox.
We only support QuickBooks Online on the latest releases of Firefox. Firefox auto-updates itself silently whenever it notices a newer version available, which happens approximately every 6 weeks. It is possible your version of Firefox experienced an issue while updating itself. Please manually update Firefox from one of the methods mentioned below:
Update it via your Linux update manager.
If the above doesn't work, just un-install and re-install Firefox from Mozilla.

Thanks for upgrading and keeping the web moving forward!"
======
And thank YOU, Intuit, for
o holding the web back,
o failing to fully cross-browser test your product to make it browser-agnostic, and
o using browser-sniffing instead of things like modernizr for capabilities testing.
FAIL.

But Opera should keep its browser-definitions up to date with current releases. I know I know it makes little sense to keep the browser-sniffers happy, but there it is.

Is there an easy place to edit this myself?

Meanwhile, Opera, _please_ work with Intuit to resolve whatever issues they have with your browser. It seemed to work just _fine_ when I'd identified as Firefox previously. (therefore I shouldn't have to)

Also if there IS in fact an easy place to edit the version number of the identity definitions, perhaps that could be added to the knowledgebase article?

In 12, it is now possible to define a custom user agent - but it is still pretty new.

opera:config#UserPrefs|CustomUser-Agent

(Copy that to the address bar.)

it would be nicer if that option appeared in the Quick Preferences: Edit Site Preferences: Network tab, and was selectable from the dropdown.

Better, I would think, if the User Agent Strings were kept at least somewhat up to date.

Best, would be if High-Profile companies like intuit weren't deliberately doing browser-sniffing the old-fashioned way, excluding an excellent, quality browser such as Opera is, and would instead try and work with Opera Software, to resolve the issues.

This having been said, it appears to me that Intuit is in serious need of a quality webmaster who knows what modernizr is and how to use it.
