Opera forum/cookie problem?

21June2012

After I make posts (anywhere) here, I cannot see them until I exit & then restart Opera. Why?
Logging out & logging back in does not do the trick.
Closing the tab with MyOpera does not do the trick.

Another similar/related MyOpera problem is»
SOMETIMES, if I restore an Opera session with a tab for MyOpera
and then login, MyOpera shows me as logged in; BUT
when I click on the Forums link, MyOpera shows me as logged OUT.
If I then leave the Forums, MyOpera shows me as logged in.
If I return to the Forums, MyOpera shows me as logged OUT.

I then have to log out, close the tab, close/reopen Opera ...

Can you please tell me what version of Opera (mini, mobile, desktop + version number) you are using, and what platform (mac, linux, windows, mobile)?

Yesterday I tried to respond but could not
because MyOpera would log me out when I clicked on forums ...

Anyway, I use Opera@USB (on my local c:\ drive) - now version 12.00.1467.
I have WinXPsp3 (both Home & Pro) 32bit on my P4 laptops.

I seem to be having problems @ MFF - when using Opera ...
That forum always rejects my first login attempt.
Yesterday I logged in, started to make a quick reply,
never finished it, left my browser open for 24 hours,
decided not to finish that post & logged out ...
Logged back in later, made a post, and
the forum says the post was made yesterday morning ...

It sounds mostly like a problem with Opera@USB, which isn't an official Opera product. Unfortunately I can't offer you any support on this issue.

"sounds like"?
sounds like Opera has not checked out the issue at all.
If coolmarek1 does not use @USB, then what?
oh well ... whatever ...

... so this is not a Opera@USB issue ...
so there is no reason to ignore this ANNOYING issue ...
The issue might be with the forum software and not Opera or maybe with the combo of the two ..
