Opera 12 crashes when moving tab from one window to another

As the title says:
  1. Run Opera
  2. Create 2 tabs
  3. Drag one tab out so a new window is created
  4. Drag the tab back to the first window
  5. Enjoy crash

Using Windows 7, AMD, this also happens on an Intel.

Confirmed, but the tabs need to have web pages loaded in them, dragging a tab with speed dial works fine. Man, why is Opera 12 so buggy?! scared

Confirmed. I have the same problem on Windows 7. However i believe this problem happens on all other versions of Windows too. I liked Opera a lot BEFORE the new version, 12. Version 12 is the worst version of Opera browser i have ever seen in my life!!!

Yes, dragging tabs from window to window causes complete crash-then-restart of opera. In my case I've done the dragging in side panel with "windows" view enabled, and I was really surprised it happened, never had that problem in previous versions. So I've tested various combinations of dragging and I confirm that migrating groups of tabs between windows is a NO-NO in my Opera 12 (crashes on both my computers XP and Win7, so it's really not the installation).

Nevertheless I find Opera 12 generally smooth and it feels faster for everything except flash video. That wrapper thing is a bug in and of itself. So I watch video in other browsers for the moment. I trust it shall be fixed in the next few months (that's how long it usually takes, lol).

Another thing: it was a big mistake to upgrade from existing installation to Opera 12, too many problems. This version definitely needs a totally clean install. Then you can appreciate its charms.

100% confirmed. v11 had some annoying bugs too. I don't like the way Opera develops at the moment -.-
I use Windows 7, ultimate, 64 bit - same bug.
