Annoying problem with Tab Stacks

I am using Opera 12. It is a nice browser and I love the Tab Stacks feature. However, when I leave my browser open for a few hours, I can no longer expand my stacks by clicking the arrow next to the stack unless if I unstack them and restack them. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if there's something wrong with my settings.

OS: Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate Edition

did the computer go into sleep mode?
if thats the case then try wating for some time before using opera...

The computer didn't go to sleep. I can have the browser open for several hours and the tab stacks will just refuse to expand if I click on the arrow. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if there's something I can do about it.

What happens if you double click the stack?

Opera 12.15 - Win 8 Pro x64 All my Opera tools -Tab Vault: Save tabs for later -AutoStack: tabs opened from a stack stay there

If I double click the stack then it expands. I don't know why it won't work when I click the arrow though.
